How the Portfolio Path Works

RequirementWhat You Need to Provide
1. Robust Training HoursComprehensive curriculum documents, certificates of completion, and syllabi from your training. The ICF will review this to ensure it aligns with their Core Competencies and code of ethics. (Minimum 60 hours for ACC; 125 hours for PCC).
2. Mentor Coaching10 hours of Mentor Coaching over a minimum of three months. This must be done with an ICF-credentialed mentor coach (at the ACC, PCC, or MCC level). Note: Even if you did mentoring in your original program, if it wasn't with an ICF-credentialed coach, you will need to do this step.
3. Logged Coaching HoursA log of your client coaching hours. (Minimum 100 hours for ACC; 500 hours for PCC).
4. Performance EvaluationYou must submit a recorded coaching session along with a written transcript so ICF assessors can evaluate your practical application of their competencies.
